1) back of the room....a --voice waves--b-----voice waves-----y--voice waves--z ....front of room = fast

2) back of the room....a---voice waves--b-----radio waves-----y--voice waves--z ....18,000km away =faster

Assuming a-b equals 1 ms, b-y equals 1 ms, and y-z equals 1ms.

Using b-y as the changing factor, 2 is so fast that it reaches the distance of 18000km completing the transmission before 1 can complete the distance of a room. Making the statement true.

chances are anyways... if you are 18,000km away (11,250 miles) you won't hear whatever sound was made w/ out the use of radio waves
