A person transmits via radio  (distance to microphone = 1 meter at ~340 meters/sec, takes roughly .003 seconds) transciever to a reciever 18,000km (speed of light ~300,000km/second, takes ~.06 of a second.) where another person is sitting 3 meters away from the outputting speaker on the distant end (3 meters at ~340 meters/sec. takes roughly .009 of a second.

Totals  .003 + .06 +.009 = .072 seconds

Example A. A person is 4 meters away in the back of the room.  4 meters (at 340 meters/per second) = ~.0117 seconds

Examble B. A person is 8 meters away in the back of the room (at 340 meters/per second)= ~.0235 seconds

Example C. A person is 30 meters away in back of the room (at 340 meters/per second)= ~.0882 seconds

So even if you take out the rest of the orginal equation (Voice to microphone, and reciever speaker to listeners ear) It has to be a bigass room to be true.
