Are you looking for new or used?

New, I'd contact Steve @ TQS or Kenneth @ KBM.

Used, it may be worth while shooting MadDog a pm.

i like those kenz pistons but they're more than double the price of anything else.....so wiseco seems like the way to go.....for sure stay away from the je 12:1 for the 660

Never had a problem on 91-93, even ran 89 a few times on 80+ degree days in the sand without any pre-detonation or pinging.  I would suggest premium on a stock or stage 1 hotcam, might get away with mid-grade if you've got a stage 2 or more aggressive camshaft and a bit of porting.

racinjason68

Well was gonna go with mild P&P and was told to skip stage 2 and go with the 3.... So many opinions... LOL

Just wanted to make sure I can run on pump gas.

i'm in the same boat. Cept it is my bills holding me up right now! And I'm looking to go 11:1 stroked, stage 2 or 3 cam, new springs and valves. to compliment my full ct exhaust. I'm not sure how big of a stroke I"m going yet. I have a worked up 700 to chase down. :) I can hang with the Suzuki lt450R's I'm not sure if they were stock or worked any. I didn't get a chance to really ask any info on them. But in roughly a 300' I was either dead even, little ahead, or a little behind every race. unless either one of us got a really good jump on the start. i'm wanting that 700. I have to look up his profile on raptorforum to see what he has.

Here is what he has i'm not sure if he crossed over to this forum or not.
mine dyno'd 38hp and 34 lb/torque. I have a JE12:5 piston, barker dual exhasut,T-rex port with +1 valves,X-4 cam,+2tb,dynatek,power commander and gytr intake w/o lid. However it is tuned perfect and runs strong. it pulled 93mph with stock gearing on the dyno against the break and overheated the dyno to where they had to abort the tune until it cooled off.mine was tuned by reading the CO2 instead of O2. they tuned it to a 3.5 CO2 reading at every 200rpm's up to 8000.So i think i can brag and say i have the fastest 38hp raptor on the planet

Peelz

38 hp after all those mods? Stock 660 rated at 36.5.  I know hp is arguable when compared with different dynos. hmm?

racinjason68

gonna say mine hit 43hp at the tires with just pro-flow and jetted with barkers.   All other on the motor is stock.  that is at 1000asl.

41 with HMF slip-on K&N jet and lid drilled.  HMM?

Mad Dog

That's a low to mid 60hp 700R, you'll want 65hp+ or a much better chassis setup to beat it.

racinjason68

are the rings close enough for a drop in?  or do most need to be ground?

exentix

that 700 should be in the 60's and yes i know for a FACT it is FAST and yes it hit 93 on the dyno for a minute or two and it acutally ruined the tires. i was there, its my moms bf's 700...

ceanern sorry to say but i think youll have to dump ALOT of cash if you want to catch devans bike. hes also runnin vp race gas now so theres a bit more power too, and i think he put the 15t on not sure about that tho.
