I would double check your wiring hook up.. If my memory serves me correctly, there's 2 plugs that have the same kind of connection. Possible you have them reversed?

I would give Jamie @ FuelMotoUSA a call.  877-729-4754
see if he has any ideas. he's a straight shooter and very easy to deal with.

i didnt get to speak with jamie but i talked to keith and he pretty much told me i had it hooked up wrong.  so back to the shop tonight and hopefully get this  running

Krandall

you should try this then...

remove the pciii entirely.. you should be able to take the 9volt adapter. hook it up, and hook it up to your laptop w/ out issue.
if that doesn't work... sounds like it could be issues.

well keith was correct. i did have it hooked up wrong. the ground wire was hooked up to the starter relay instead of hte battery. i guess in the minute it took me to run from the computer back to the shop after lookin at the pictures on how to install i thought the 2 looked the same. and like you said krandall i hooked up the 9v to it an had a connection right away.
thanks for all thehelp in deciding which way to go with this beast, now time to go have some fun!

Krandall

Excellent!!!! Glad to hear it ended up being something simple at least!

so back on the trouble wagon. lol

the bike is overheating. or it seems to be gettin quite hot an the coolant starts to leak out.  we removed the thermostat thinkin it might have been bad or whatever. but not the case. is it possible something that there is a blockage somewhere in the system? the plug looks perfect so im pretty sure it not leaning itself out an gettin to hot.

im sure someone can help since you have helped with all my other questions!!
