im fairly new to reloading, been doing it for about 2 years now. go out and get a lee single stage press and what ever brand of dies you prefer. for tumbing do not get the vibratory kind, they suck, look up getting a wet stainless tumbling system. http://www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com/ other than that give me a call and we can bs about it. i dont feel like typing for hours. oh and a great place to get used brass is from ar15.com in the equipment exchange

reloading is fun, and i thoroughly enjoy it.  i dont quite have as much time under my belt as dan does, but i have reloaded thousands of bullets in over a dozen calibers.  i am quite anal when it comes to reloading, my bench is spic and span, and only the components i need are on the bench, that way there is no accidents.  i have no experience with the lee reloader, i bought what Dan calls the "Rich Mans Reloader"  the RCBS Supreme.  i got it for only 300$ which is a steal, and have reloaded as big as 338 lapua and as small as a .204 with zero complaints and all the bullets seat with extremely minimal force, i have heard that some of the cheaper presses require quite a bit of pressure to seat some calibers (i have experienced this with the Hornady auto turret press).  I never use the 5-0-5 scale as i do not trust it, i have a hornady digital scale which is spot on every time.  if you plan on doing handgun ammo and reloading 500 bullets at a shot, i reccomend taking a good look at an auto powder measure like the charge master from RCBS, it will save a ton of time and be accurate.  I have yet to have a powder measure throw 4 consecutive powder charges in a row, hence why i dont like the 5-0-5 scale.  a powder dribbler is a must, and i use a digital caliper often.  I reccomend getting a catalogue from sinclair.com and spend some time reading it, it has a ton of good info.  you can pm me if you have any more questions

I just got 2 new toys. I won a Kimber Custom II 45    which I already have a buyer for and then I am getting the Kimber Eclipse 45
And I just got a XDm 45

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Krandall

Matt, how do you like the 45? That is the gun I've had my eyes set on.

I shot the Kimber and was in love!!! I could not believe how good it really shot, because of the weight it was smooth.

I have not shot the XDm yet but she is so purdy! Still has the red factory tab!

I haven't bought anything in a while, which is kinda freakin me out.  I am, however, holding out for this:

Peelz

Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

They are still pretty hard to get a hold of, but my local dealer keeps telling me that he should have one by the end of summer.  We'll see.

ya i should have bought one of those before i quit my job in the oil fields lol. i want one bad.

and for the 45s.... im not a huge fan. its a good round and all dont get me wrong, but they are to damn expensive to shoot compared to the 40. its a big bullet but it goes slow, the 40 is just a little smaller but goes a lot faster. i think i would get a 10mm before a 45, the 10 shoots the 40 bullet but it has a magnum case on it so it packs a lot more punch. but this too i think is overkill as i am sure the normal old 40 is plenty enough to put any zombie on its ass.
