My Dad had the paddles on becuase he was mud riding. I was sliding sideways around a curve on the grass and the inside of the left tire/a-arm caught the tree and threw me and off and rolled once onto its side.

Felt like an earthquake

It seems like it floods like crazy up there. The Mississippi of course doesn't have locks and dams like we have along the Arkansas. The Arkansas flods quite a bit. It was above flood stage two months ago. With the rain they are getting up by Tulsa, it will wreak havoc for the next week here on top of the rain we are getting now.

extreme southeast. I think there are some locks, but only for shipping purposes. Barges and such. This week starts the week long Steamboat Days Festival right on the riverbank in burlington. Water is in the parking lot. Not that it matters much, it's already nasty down there with "carny's" and their shameless display of the mullet.
