think about how much you spend, & be honest about it.
If you saved all that money in a year, think of the quad you could own
pack of siggies/day = $7.00
x 365 days/year = $2,555.00
That buys a lot of parts or a serious upgrade in machine!!

:(

smoked for 12 years at average of 3.00 a pack, one pack a day. right around $100 a month.

ERMAHGERD.  :( Never did that math before. <sobbing heavily>

$14,400 basically spent on a nice little cough I have still occasionally today.  :(

But, when I quit, I spent extra dough on a motorcycle payment, which morphed into quad obsession. WIN!

Yes 4fizzle, ignorance is bliss.  ;)

How many of you have said "love to go to New Zealand or Austraila" & smoke?
1 years smoking would pay for such a trip......................

This is funny

Ya'll worried about us poor smokers.

You do realize that everyone of you rides an extreme high performance ATV, at break neck speeds over jumps, dunes, etc. ???

Dorks, none of your life expectancies are very long!!!!

At the end of the day, what you choose to do to yourself & how you want to spend your money is up to you.
I do think that seeing the true cost & some of the alternatives that the money could have got you is a good thing.

Also, one of the problems with smoking is that you force the rest of us to share your habbit.
As already mentioned the smell, not to mention the 2nd hand smoke is EXTREEMLY undesirable.
In NZ all bars & clubs are smoke-free, & a great thing it is too.
Still not everywhere in the USA & I have clothes that REEK after 1 night out :(

I would not date a smoker.

Started noticing that after being smoke free for about 3 months. My truck stank, people I work with stink. I spent a whole afternoon steamcleaning my truck, including the headliner. And when my employees come back from break, I can smell them a mile away. I was like "Did i smell like that?" Thank GERD I quit!
