it's really not that hard, helped my buddy do it in his 65' stang. turn key daily driver now.  One nice thing about older viechles is that there is usually plenty of room to route wires.

True, but one thing that's nice about Carbed is.. If something happens where it's not running, it's basically one of 2 things, you're not getting spark, or your not getting gas.

If I was going for daily driver I may have considered EFI but, I'm not going for show room, or anything fancy, some minimal body work, get it driving, burn off a set of wheels. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. 8)

same thing is true of EFI, and you don't doubt your Scion ;)

it's your build, have fun with it either way

I just watched this build last weekend.  Badass 60 starliner (one of my all time favorite cars) with a Ford GT motor.

 Wicked !!!!

 those were the days!

I had a carbed Mercury Capri that liked to foul plugs. Needed alot of air to start somedays. Pulll air filter, stick pen in choke valve. Fired right up

best pic I can find right now
Think it's actually the tow car not the actual dragster, as the motor don't look right.
Dragster has the flat alloy heads, & this appears to be the 351 powered tow car (otherwise looks very similar)
