i just thought i post some pics of some things other thing raptor parts that i have made in about the past year.


shortly after i got my PS3 i made this, since i still have my PS2. i call it the PS3 "garage"





all it is, is a piece of 10 gauge aluminum i bent at work. then i took 2 PCU fans from a computer and wired them up to a AC to 12 volt DC converter on a switch. then i mount the fans to in the back of the "garage" to pull cool air from the back of my desk and blow it over the top of the PS3 and out the front of the "garage". you can kind of see the switch mounted to the top of the plate in the first pic, at the left side and back of the plate. (it's the red dot.)

after i got the PS3 i also made this to hold some movies and games.






a few years back our post office used to have combonation doors on our boxes. when they went with a key lock they sold the combo doors to the box owners. well my parents bought our's and my grandpa's door. my dad took our door and made a piggy bank vault out of wood and it looked so good i decided to build my own. mine is made from aluminum diamond plate though.






and strictly for shits and giggles today at work during my first break i made a 24oz. Dr. Pepper can.  :grin_nod:

i also have a ton of exp. with tig welding aluminum. i like it better than anything else, but due to wages i went with the steel route, working on the road, pays triple

i dont have any picks of stuff ive made atm...your piggy bank reminds me of the speaker box i made out of .25 alum. treadplate for my 15" L7 kicker, every one was skeptical of it...said it would ring, or resinate, it did none of the sort...works flawlessly

i remember the first time i welded 2 cans togeather...one of the harder things i have welded id have to say.

we have about 8-9 Miller dynasty 300s and 2 dynasty 200s. they are the nicest machines i have ever used. i wish i had a 200 at home.

awesome love all the adjustment on those, they keep making them better and better, my dads a welder too, runs his own aluminum repair buisness...so i have all that at my disposal, gotta love it.

well there are about 10 people that can TIG weld in the plant and we are about equally matched at TIG welding.

you can run some nice beads jw do you guys have any tips for me on what is a good way on getting into the trade?i graduate this year and i really enjoy welding, theres a place close by that was looking for welders and they start you at 18 an hour which i thought was really good plus they said you dont need any experience but i have a bit.
