Hefe

you ever heard the term "lead, follow, or get outta the way"?

most choose the last one!

Bert

Magicracing.com supplies Kold Kutter racing studs and can answer specific questions.
Pro Gold also makes ice racing studs.
For racing these work great but I've been told that Woodies Studs are excellent for recreational riding.

Woodies studs are similiar to Hefe's & he's on the right track

Bert

Hefe, what brand studs are those?
On packed snow what kind of traction do you have? I know my ice racing tires don't offer an more traction on packed snow than a regular tire.

Danny T

jeff those look great take another pic showing em studded up front too, be safe this winter and thanks again for helpin my buddy out!

Hefe

I honestly don't know what brand those are

we found a couple old snowmobile tracks and pulled out all the studs

sorry..

I will see if I can find some pics of the fronts..

Would you stud the fronts with snowmobile studs as well?

Hefe

that might be overkill. Not sure I would do that.

Most of the rivers here get a nice hard pack due to all the snowmobile traffic on them. I think sled studs would do great on it!
