Yeah, that is pretty chewed up. V Tail Bonanzas where know as doctor killers. At high speeds, the tails would get ripped off due to structural issues on older Bonanzas. One of the guys I work with lost his grandfather to one of them. I flew a '65 VT35 a few months back. A friend of mine wanted to buy it, and had a chance to buy it cheap. It needed paint, and interior. The engine was strong, and the aircraft had just had a fresh annual. It was a turbo six, and it would haul balls. Extremely fast. We did a couple of fast taxis, and then took it around the pattern for three touches. We sat down, returned to the hangar and I noticed the windshield had cracked. We did not see a crack when we pre-flighted the aircraft. Kind of spooky.
