Diesel is 3.39 at the local station, but the lowest i have seen was yesterday at 2.99 on Ajo highway in Drexel Heights near Tucson.

That would be the deal.  People are taking less trips and really watching their gas use.  When the price hit 4 bucks train ridership went up 23%, those people got used to the train and they haven't gone back to driving.

and that is what will keep gas prices low hopefully. if people stay used to the ways they were getting around when gas prices was high. we will be safe and buying cheap gas for awhile
