didn't care for epiphone les paul, I liked my Ibanez. Depends on what you play: classic rock, les paul is good. I always played metal with dsitortion so I like having the humbcker at the base.

thats what i was wanting to play, ive played my friends Ibanes GRX20 with a distortion pedal, hooked up to a 10W practice amp it sounded alright, just sounded like it rang too much
