slap the 700 motor in it...I'm sold  :grin_nod:
why slap a 700 engine in it when a 450 makes more power?

Is that true?  Worth a look then. Probably super duper high end, though.

Bear in mind that the SM only has 2 wheels not 4 also much lighter!
I would go for a KTM 540 with factory mods, serious boogie (80+ hp & 115 kg)
2003 Raptor 660LE
719cc with Kenz 13.5:1 piston
X-4 cam & no decomp
39mm FCR's
HV ported head
Ferrea SS Valves
CT Sonic Exhaust
GYTR Clutch

ASR +3+1 A-Arms & Works Tripple Rates
450 Front Calipers
+2 Extended Swingarm
G-Force Axle & Hubs.
Pro Armour Skid Plate
Tusk Nerfs

Gonna be a fun ride now!

I already have a streetbike, but I would love to have a dual prpose that is geared towards dirt. That KTM sounds pretty sweet. Light and powerful...I'll have a look in a bit. Takin my boys out to dinner, mommas workin tonight.  See you guys later

I started out on a '99 GSXR 750 then got in my wreck and got insurance money and bought a '02 GSXR 750 then sold that getting close to a year ago.  Been reading up on the Aprilia DORSODURO 750 and the SXV 5.5

Michael
'prilla make some damn nice bikes!

Yeah they do and they have the price tag that lets you know that  :grin_nod:

Michael
If you stack em up next to what they're built to compete against, they are generally cheaper.
Priced any new Ducati's lately, or homologation special Jappa's?

Thats true man.  I was just looking at the prices of the 2 I was looking at wanting to get compared to like a GSXR 750.  But I want a motard for my next bike and i'm hoping that by the time i'm ready to buy that yamaha puts a 450 in theres or something unless I can afford the Aprili  :grin_nod:

Michael

I'm waiting for Yamaha to offer this bike in a 450
