Hell know! Well guys another hour and its time to go to the bar!  :grin_nod:

I started out on a '99 GSXR 750 then got in my wreck and got insurance money and bought a '02 GSXR 750 then sold that getting close to a year ago.  Been reading up on the Aprilia DORSODURO 750 and the SXV 5.5 :thumbs:

If you stack em up next to what they're built to compete against, they are generally cheaper.
Priced any new Ducati's lately, or homologation special Jappa's?

Thats true man.  I was just looking at the prices of the 2 I was looking at wanting to get compared to like a GSXR 750.  But I want a motard for my next bike and i'm hoping that by the time i'm ready to buy that yamaha puts a 450 in theres or something unless I can afford the Aprili  :grin_nod:

Why not buy a WR450 (enduro bike) & put road wheels on it, plenty of guys do here.
Buy id you want SM then look at

or if the dollars ain't so easy coming then
a suzi DRZ400SM is a good place to start

xtz 660 is the where the Raptor 660 was born. We don't get very many big-bore single off road bikes here.  Kawasaki has/had a 650, so does honda. Zuki has a 400, Yamaha only 225. :confused:

why slap a 700 engine in it when a 450 makes more power?

If they changed the counter balancers on the crank of the 700 to a lighter motorcycle style, that wouldn't be the case at all.
