trip to Little Sahara, OK April 3-5 2009. (update in first post 8-11-08)

I will have a tent. Either my 8 person, or a friends little 3 man. Like I said, I will only be in there for 4 hours or so of sleeping, then it's a shower and then the dunes! After Breakfast fajitas.

ok it looks like sand fest is in september, and i think the rattle snake hunt is in april. but i'm not sure. can anyone else help me find the dates of these 2 events for next year? i would like to go when there is not a huge crowd on the dunes.

Looks like snakehunt is the weel of the 15th of april and sandfest is not determined yet.

Here is a link to a site. Look under calendar of events also has a reservation section for sand city camping. We are going to be there for sandfest, it is about a 2-2.5hr. drive for me.

Looks like I should have another drag bike by then if i get to make it. But it might be a 450 based bike.  The wife wants a drag bike so I have to decide on turning her 450 into a drag bike or build another raptor.

ok so like preddy said can we all agree on the weekend of the 4th in April of 2009 (that all sounds wierd. ) but really April 3-5 of 2009 can well all agree on that? it's a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
