GERD help us all :run:
There are issues that I can relate with the current choices, but none who I can whole heartily support. Mitt, Newt, and Rick are just bureaucrats doing as they do. Ron Paul is less beurocrat IMO, but some of his ideals are just stupid (IE Foreign Policy, military scale down, isolationism). Obama has not accomplished anything. He gets credit for things not of his doing (Iraq withdrawal timeline was a Bush initiative), and getting Bin Laden had more to do with getting the right Intel at the right time, than what President occupied the white house.
The economic woes we face are major. And are not a single person's, or single political parties to own up to. We don't build as much stuff that the rest of the world wants anymore. The big three automotive companies are building better vehicles now, but there not building ones that are selling overseas. And the ones that are selling overseas weren't built here in the first place. So buying a new ford, Chevy, or dodge isn't helping us grow the economy as much as we're simply passing the money around amongst ourselves. We have demanded that our labor is more valuable than others, and therefore lost those jobs to those willing to suffice for less. Then we "Stimulate" the economy by passing more money we don't have around within the populous to spend on foreign products...Anyone see a problem here?
"Stop buying from China!", "Increase import tax"...is the cry I hear lately....Sounds great in principle, however we are tied at the hip with China. Without them our consumer product prices will skyrocket, and the chances of them trying to cash our rubber check goes up. Without us, they have no customers so their economy tanks. So we're caught up in a self licking ice cream cone...
Is there a way out?...Maybe, IMO it will not be immediate, nor anytime in the near future, but I think it's possible most likely off the backs of our kids/grandkids. We need to re-look at how we image "Success" to our kids. It's definitely not the current idolization of Entertainers and Sports stars. In fact, it should have nothing to do with potential for income, except to ensure they make enough to live their lives happily. That's all most parents ever want for their kids anyway, but somehow that's not the message we always convey. Somewhere, we've implanted a thought that working with your hands for a living isn't successful. Bullshit, if you enjoy it, and it pays the bills you are a 100% success as far as I'm concerned. Working in an office, in a suit and tie, isn't going away, but shouldn't be viewed as were we have to be in order to achieve success. If "Working with your hands" isn't viewed as success, we will never build anything anyone elsewhere wants.
If we start a TRUE recommitment to ourselves, and our kids in education, and mentality that chemical, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, mechanics, scientists, soldiers, teachers and above all, ANY person who puts in 40+ hours a week to feed his/her family are the true heroes worthy of everyone's respect, then those who are working will take a greater sense of pride in what they do vice wishing they were elsewhere "living the dream". This recommitment requires a change in the status quo in our public education systems, and ourselves. First, education. Take your Tenure, and shove it in your ass. The rest of the country lives in a competitive world, and is forced to compete everyday to keep what the have, and attempt to reach higher. I don't blame the teachers we have, it's the system that is the issue. If you want to teach, you should have to perform at a higher level than the person willing to replace you, not just above the standards dictated by the state. Period. Just like the rest of deal with everyday.
Second, PAY THE GAWD DAMN TEACHERS! If we want the best for our kids; we must be willing to pay for it. If you make teaching competitive well beyond its current state, and offer up a sizeable salary for those positions, the cream of the crop will show up. A good teacher making less than $40k is shameful. These are the folks we depend on to teach our kids, to inspire them to learn more, and help instruct them on the basics of a solid work ethic. Yet, we pay them like shit, and only pay the tenured ones more for achieving the standard.....Oh, by the way....you can shove "No child left behind" back up the poop chute of whomever birthed that turd.
Ok, Ok...almost done ranting....but this is the part that will guarantee I never get elected for shit.
We live in a Capitalistic Republic... therefore; we all have the chance to achieve the "American Dream" right? Right.
However, that also means we must let those who continue to fail, Fail.
If you continue to be fired from job after job because you can't come to work sober, or are too lazy....I'm not paying for you to be on welfare, or retrain you for a new job, or your food stamps.....You're on your own.
I have no issue with hard working people needing a hand up. Everyone has lost a job, and has needed some help, and I don't mind that, because who knows someday that could be me.
Just don't bite my phucking hand, because it will punch you in the face. If you were fired for cause 3 consecutive times, eat a dick, the card board box behind bestbuy has your name on it.

that was one of the most awe inspiring rants I've read to date. rock on Aaron.
well said Aaron.
I agree MOSTLY on Obama, hes being soft, but the problem isn't all the president. Its the assholes in gov't that would rather bitch about the other side and not work together to find a solution! BOTH SIDES-The world is not black and white. If pres. has a bad idea, help him fix it....I don't care if you don't like him, figure it the fuk out. Thats what WE, as americans are paying you to do. Pretty sure if I was given a task, and somebody else at work came up with an idea, then I refused to help because I dislike their party, OR just come up with my own better plan, I would be fired. and rightly so.
I am sick of having my candidates force fed to me. I dont like that to be liberal, you have to be one way, and to be conservative, you have to be the other way...the world is way more gray area than that.
some shit I'm liberal about. weed and hookers...semi-liberal. Family values, and working for a living-conservative. Politicians change their views in order to fit into their selected party, Which I find disgusting. for instance: " if Im going to get elected, I better have such and such view...." hate it. OUr political system now is "vote one party in, bitch about them for 4-8 years, then select the other party" I think it should be more working together every day.
But again, I'm sorry. I would like to be able to vote conservative based on financial issues alone, but Reps are drilling holes in their own boat. Gingrich vs Romney, are you phucking serious? those are my choices??? Santorum seems like the coach of a baseball team that hasn't won a game in 50 years, Ron Paul has a FEW decent ideas, but he looks and sounds old and creepy. Like he should be leading a backwoods religious zealot militia or something....
also, need that picture of BL to make that campaign flyer

We could choose Phucker for VP, but I fear a Cheney-esk repeat of history when Dan shoots someone in the face.
How about Krandall? Wait...wait...This country isn't ready for a Homosexual VP yet.

as for everyone who thinks ron paul looks old or doesnt speak well or seems like a crazy old man, are we voting for a beauty pageant? do some research and see what he actually wants to do. dont believe what the mainstream media shows because they just show the stuff that makes him look crazy, and his ideas can not be fully explained in 60 seconds because he is not a good speaker. i promise if you actually look into his true beliefs and ideals most everyone on earth would agree with the vast majority of them.
peels i really hate the two party platform also, you are either an old elitist white wall street banker or a tree hugging hippie. i am waaaay to the right on most every issue,i consider myself to be a constitutional conservative/ libertarian my main political beliefs are the government needs to get out of everyones way and let this economy do what it will, yes people and businesses will fail, they are meant to. i also believe it is not my job to pay taxes so some worthless piece of shit can have 16 babies and still bitch that she isnt gettin enough help cause all her baby daddys are in jail. i think that welfare should be done by charity not by the government, if you stop giving hand outs people might actually decide to get a damn job. yes we need a hand up from time to time but not hand outs.
the federal government has 18 enumerated powers and thats it, 99.99% of laws passed by the feds are illegal. as for our foreign policy, it needs to be totally reworked, we have no right to be the policemen of the world. i could go on and on but my fingers are tired.
I have thoroughly reviewed ron paul. He does have some merit, but his thoughts on foriegn policy are ludacris. Our global military presence directly impacts our trade negotiations. Would you like to pay the gas prices the europeans have? Would you have China expand its illegal trade practices that are in direct violation of international law and completely undermine american companies that have to play by the rules.
Thank an American Soldier, Sailor,.Airman, or Marine stationed abroad, because their mere presence overseas pads your wallet.
If elected vp, I promise to pee in interns butts. I will cut welfare to illegal immigrants and penalize businesses for hiring illegal immigrants so our troops can get the benefits they deserve. I will cut funding in our prisons so criminals won't be living better than our senior citizens. You might ask, how can the vp do that? It's simple, I will have to speak on pats behalf! Vote for us... Spartan/Lady4fiddy 2012!
a lot of the military spending dr paul wants to cut is like the building of an embassy in iraq that is larger and fancier than the vatican, yes he wants to close a lot of bases, but we have bases is 193 countries and i think that is ridiculous and i agree most of our troops need to come home and protect our country by locking down our borders, i dont see anything wrong with that. also he believes in non-interventionism which means we just stay out of others business unless it affects us. we have no need to be in libya or syria or africa. leave sovereign countries alone until the phuck with us, then you tell the military this is your enemy go kick their ass, when they are dead you will come home. that sounds like sound foriegn policy to me. also remember that the congress wont let him have his way, he will just be the guiding voice. as he is a constitutionalist he will abide by what the congress says, he will not be a dictator like obama is.
The only problem I have with your last statement dan... Is "A dictator like obama is"
Cripes. Get off the high horse and quit thinking the man is against you and everything you believe in. You have to realize he's the puppet, not the puppeteer. There's hundreds behind him you should be hating.
I don't know enough about the whole military intervention crap... But IMO, it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't. If we do something, people get hurt, we look bad. If we don't.. People get hurt, people get pissed we didn't do anything, we look bad.
Nikki/Pat have my vote.
Dan, I certainly hope Mr. Paul is at least buying you dinner after the lovin's hes giving you.
I do NOT see what you see. At least not totally. Some are good.
good ideas aren't everything, The guy is a spook. Charlie Manson had might have had a few good ones.....really got him far. However, he is better than the other reps. That is bad for that party. He should run independent, would get more votes IMO. Republicans are doing their part to get obama elected right now.
You can only blame the president so far....The problem is nobody will work with him...so he is forced to be a dick about it and get his way, because nobody will do a damned thing to help him. Just sit there and say "HE'S WRONG!!!" but not really offering a solution. ALL OF CONGRESS should be put on final warning. Work it out or gtfo. You don't like his policy, find a better way, not just whine like little bitches that the other party sucks.
both parties are guilty of this btw ;)
SO so so tired of the rep vs democrat thing. Why is it a constant battle? Disagreeing with a political party, solely because it is a different party than you is ridiculous. You need to work together it is what we are paying you for.. the country has been divided too long. Thus, the problems we face.
Nobody is taking your guns...relax...nobody is taking your job, unless your company is tanking. Sure we are spending too much money helping freeloaders and other countries, but that isn't the presidents fault. We were spending that much long before he got here. the president just follows the ideals set before him by previous presidents. I still don't see a better way offered. All I see these days is " the president is wrong!" okay...based on what? and do you have a better way?

Per my count, we have 63 overseas bases in 21 countries (Reference here http://www.militaryinstallations.dod.mil/pls/psgprod/f?p=MI:LOOKUP:0::::P3_VAL:MI). There is already work happening to lower our european footprint (There will be only 2 US Army bases left in germany total), and consolidation of bases into single Joint service bases is happening everywhere as we speak.
This a prime example of how politicians twist statistics for their favor.
I believe they're getting the 198 countries by including the Marine security detachments assigned to guard embassys (Which is usually a small unit of 20 Marines). US Embassys are US soverign property, and will be defended as such.
Also, We have no Military forces in Lybia......We had 1 Airman their, his plane (F-15E) crashed, and was recovered by a Marine QRF floating in the med.
We have NO US forces in Syria...at all, and haven't, so I don't understand that one.
Today we had a SEAL Team rescue an AMerican hostage in SOmalia....Good thing they had a base, logistics and support nearby to accomplish that huh?

Immigration....
Our country has a very tainted history on this subject. We accept immigrants when it's in our favor, and deny them when it's not. During WWII the Bracero Program brought in thousand and thousands of Latin Americans into the US to work the factories and fields while our men and women were off fighting in the Pacific and Europe. They built the weapons, and kept our troops fed, only to be kicked the phuck back out with nothing to show for it in the 1950's and 60's under "Operation Wetback".
Now, "Guarding the Borders"....is this a solution or are we treating a symtom vice the illness? Putting more bodies on the border to fling them back over the fence isn't solving anything. Stopping their need to try is a solution. If we helped Mexico stem crime, drugs, corruption, etc, and then help them create their own jobs and markets, I guarentee less people would want to leave in the first place.
If I was a Mexican, and my family was in danger, and/or I couldn't afford to keep them in the basic nessecities of life becuase of nothing I did, or can do anything about......I'm taking them where they have a chance too!
I'm for a REAL (haven't seen one yet) "path to citizenship" that allows potential immigrants to serve this country (at a reasonable wage) in a myriad of capacities to earn their citizenship. No one could possibly want to hide their entire life, and a good plan will befenit the country economically, and socially.
I agree with you Aaron,
Even though I am a mexican, I am not one of those just let everybody in type of guy.......Last thing I want is for the US to be "another" Mexico......
your opinion to help mexico is spot on..............I dont know if you guys read the mexican news but crime is an all time high there currently.....
its worst than afganistan, and reaching columbian status quick.......
every buisness my family has or friends I know either 1. gives a cut to some sort of drug cartel or 2. fears for their life and is waiting to have some family member kidnapped.
I still have a lot of family back in mexico....... (sinaloa) up untill a year ago you couldnt pay them enough to come to the US but current state of the country right now is quickly changing their mind. Where I was born is a small city with a lot of small citys around, and last i heard they no longer have cops there....... only gang of drug cartel hit men (cikarios) riding around in back of tucks upholding their own laws..... All the old cops either quit or were killed.
A bunch of my family went to Mexico this holiday season and two of them were pulled over by these cikarios and investigated.......all went smooth and they were let go but if their centiments would have been to steal their trucks or money nobody could have stopped them....... It's getting to the point nobody wants to go back there any more........
I could go on and on about this but :funyun:
if we let them all in, you wouldnt be cool anymore.
AND where would we make money for our :air: habits :peels: ?
we would have to start smuggling white folk out for money..........

by dictator, i mean that he is circumventing congress in every way and signing executive orders like crazy, acting like he is a king or a dictator. yes he is a puppet i know this, i hate all that are behind it running the program. the reason i like ron paul so much is he has never changed his stance on anything, it is always to follow the constitution. i also feel like ron paul is the first and only politician i have ever seen that cant be bought off or run by other people, if he does make it into office, i know its a very small chance but if he does he will not get his way on most everything he wants to do, this will cause gridlock which is a hell of a lot better than what we have had for the last 30 years or so. i am on no high horse, i call it like i see it, if someone is a piece of shit i say they are a piece of shit. oh and obama is against pretty much every value i believe in. so he is against me and my values.

i think part of my problem is i have way more time to kill during the day then most. so i sit and listen to political talk radio on both sides all day long. the president isnt a king or a dictator and his powers are kept in check by the judicial and congressional arms of the federal government. there is supposed to be gridlock, that is the way this government was made. there is supposed to be gridlock to ensure that only laws are put through that are agreed on by all parties, so that one group cant force shit on everyone else, that is why we dont have a democracy like everyone keeps calling it, we have what is called a representative republic.
i agree republican vs democrat is stupid as all hell. i rarely agree with either of them, all they do is try to decide how to spend the money they take from us. you guys can think i am crazy all you want, but if you look at how the founders set everything up they did it for a reason. they did not want mob rule and they wanted the states to have power over the federal government, not the federal government having ultimate power.

for one i dont believe i said we have guys in syria, i was saying that we probably will have soon. as for guys in lybia they is video proof that we have soldiers on the ground there, no matter what the government is telling us. yes i am glad the navy seals got out those two people, but again that was an act of war in a sovereign country and i think that is wrong unless the congress declares an act of war. these are the things that our government does wrong. and aaron, after a quick google search i found this saying we have over 1000 military bases around the globe. http://www.occasionalplanet.org/2011/01/24/military-mystery-how-many-bases-does-the-us-have-anyway/ i have found tons of different reports. just to get you to think a little differently how would you feel if a Chinese dissadent came to america to live free here and the chinese govt found out where he was and bombed the shit out of the place where he lived possibly killing innocent americans? i would be damn pissed off about that. there is more than one way to skin a cat, and maybe if we left them alone they would no longer hate us, just maybe if we werent camped out in their backyards running their lives they would be happy to just tend to their goat herds. now if we kept certain necesary bases around the world so we would still have strategic abilities and brought the rest of our troops home to protect us here and we used the israeli way of national defense and airport screening the world might just be a happier place. and stop trying to turn this around that i hate the american military because i dont, i love and support them as much as i can, i feel it necesary to take 100% care of the wounded warriors because they had the balls to go and do when i did not. i would just prefer we get them out of harms way and use the much more intelligently.

No one could possibly want to hide their entire life, and a good plan will befenit the country economically, and socially.
the easy way to kill the drug lords instantly is to legalize everything. and if it kills some people oh well thats is darwinism. if heroin was legal tomorrow how many of you would seriously go up to rite aid and buy some?

they need to work together to repeal 99% of the laws we have, not create new ones. you want to fix the economy? get the damn government out of its way and let it work. how else do you think we became a global power within 200 years? it sure as hell wasnt the government running things, it was free people inventing things and making things to make a profit, people striving for better because there was a reward.
lol rite aid is a drug store, like walgreens
instantly legalize pot. and tax the shite out of it
one of my more extreme views.
the other:
I know you said you disagree with population control...but mandatory birth control would make me happy.
But I honestly believe that it is too easy to have babies for some people. Then we reward them for their "accidents". I got nothing for having MY kids....you know why? because I wanted them, and take responsibility for them. People who have them and don't want them, they get all sorts of help...ANd now, my kids have to compete with those kids who are unwanted, with less than respectable parents, who are teaching them the ways they have learned to cheat the government to make it easier.... the people right now that are leaching off of us, have been raised this way....it isnt that they are bad people....they know no better.
you know...."the american dream is owed to us" sort of mentality...not something you have the freedom to work for. Mentality keeps being handed down....and is only going to get worse, because we are making it TOO easy. however, if we just take it away, there will be bedlam. It needs to go gradually...
I agree on the govt chillin out...hands are so tied.
you know...now that I think about your "darwin" thing....
I'M into it. Take that shit away! and let's watch the chaos unfold....
But Ill need some pistols, some rifles....maybe some flamethrowers....
at least until the civil war is over.
I kid...you know no politician, especially the whole of congress will ever have nuts that big. Too many lazy basterdz register to vote

I know....I dont want to control population as a whole. My theory is aimed at choosing what demographic the population comes from.
you know...someone who wants the kid, and will teach them american values. not how to cheat your way through life. ;)

Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Az. He brought back chain gangs in prison, gave the prisioners jobs and teach them skills for the outside world. He currently has the lowest return criminal rate in the nation. He took over the county animal shelter and reduced the cost from 18 million to just under 4. The inmates work there and care for the animals. Each dog is already house broke and leash trained with basic commands. When his inmates formed a riot he moved them from prision and started a tent city in the desert. He died there uniforms pink so they are easier to see. He is truly trying to controll our mexican invasion. He rules with an iron fist and does not pussy foot around. He walks softly with a big stick. He believes that every law following american should carry a gun and know how to use it. He does not care what political party your with. Anyone who stands in his way he calls out publicly and explains how that person is getting kick backs to support there issue.

I agree, once you make the choice to not follow societies rules, society should really have no obligation to give you your rights
1000's of overseas military bases  They must be counting every expeditionary airfield, fuel dump, and parking lot!! Which are unmanned until used, and are the property of (and paid for by) the host nation.
Certainly there are clandestine military bases. And I've been to my fair share, but remember this. Bureaucrats didn't pick out these locations, our Armed Forces personnel do every year, and must justify them and how they are required to effectively support that General, or Admiral's mission to the Senate armed forces appropriation committee.
There are 5 major regional Combatant commands (COCOMs) USNORTHCOM- defends the United States homeland from attack. USSOUTHCOM- Defends American people, properties and interests in South America, USPACOM (Easily the largest) Defends the US people, properties and interests in the Pacific. And USEUCOM- Defends American people, properties and interests in Europe.
There are also Functional/Supporting COCOMs. This Includes USSTRATCOM- in charge of our strategic defenses. USTRANSCOM- Which is basically the logistical arm of the military.
Now Dan, you are a staunch supporter of our troops. If these commanding Generals and Admirals, which have spent 30+ years of their lives in absolute dedication to your defense, believe and must justify why they need these assets to complete the missions that are, or could be tasked, are you truly gonna tell them to phuck off, I want more money in my pocket? I don't think so.
As for your thoughts on withdrawing our troops back home, and trying to "Leave the world Alone, and it'll leave us alone". We've tried that before. We were isolationists through the 1880's – 1914...then We finally reacted to WWI after a million or so people died.....We did it again, until Dec. 7th 1942, when we're buttfucked at Pearl Harbor........And Through the great Wisdom of Bill Clinton, we again tried to withdraw from our "World Cop" poise...and then Sept. 11th 2001 happened.
Now yet again, some want to pull us back, and let the world revolve around us and assume it'll have nothing but a positive impact on our way of life. Let me give you quick glimpse of that reality.
We Recall all US Forces to the US, and since we don't have room for them all we reduce our total force size by half.
1. Iran will shut the Straits of Hormuz down, instantly. All imported fuel/oil from the Middle East stops. (We may have our own inherit ability, but it will not be able to react fast enough. Gas prices will skyrocket out of reach of you and I, and most everyone else) This will rock the foundation of this country, no fuel means not getting to work, and no deliveries by truck or rail. Our infrastructure could collapse. All your guns will be needed...
2. Israel is gone.
3. China extends its grasp over Taiwan once again, eliminating it's largest rival for consumer products in the region, and allows them the ability to raise the price of everything they export.
4. N. Korea annihilates South Korea. Also a major Chinese merchant rival in the region, more chance for the to Raise prices on everything and control the American import/export rates in the Pacific.
This could go on and on. Think this couldn't happen? Think that since we no longer are in their faces, countries like Iran will forgive and forget what we did to them? Cause Allah knows people from the middle east never hold a grudge, right?
And why would China do these things? Is it maybe due to the current regimes intent to keep the largest center of world population fed and happy so they don't get overthrown? (Tiananmen Square was a warning shot to China, since then they've advanced into a freer market to create larger, wealthier middle class. If they don't maintain it, their Communist days are numbered...and they know it)
N. Korea is just drooling at the chance to seize the south. As soon as we withdraw from S. Korea, the North is invading. That's an economic powerhouse that would rival any country anywhere.
Now....Recovering our Captive people from Pirates is an act of War? How about harboring Pirates/Hostage taker's? Isn't that the impetus? We reacted for the sake of citizens, and Yes Dan, if we did that to China, I'd expect them to react the same. Except for the fact China could call us for help, where Somalia is run by regional warlords, not by it's official government. By the way, the President has the full right and authority as "Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces" to execute missions in the best Interests of the nation.
"The President has broad constitutional power to take military action in response to the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. Congress has acknowledged this inherent executive power in both the War Powers Resolution and the Joint Resolution passed by Congress on September 14, 2001.
The President has constitutional power not only to retaliate against any person, organization, or State suspected of involvement in terrorist attacks on the United States, but also against foreign States suspected of harboring or supporting such organizations.
The President may deploy military force preemptively against terrorist organizations or the States that harbor or support them, whether or not they can be linked to the specific terrorist incidents of September 11. "
If Piracy and Kidnapping isn't Terrorism, I don't know what is.
would you consider holding a hooker hostage, and raping her repeatedly until she gave you money "terrorism"?

We're not invading Nebraska to free you, if that's what your asking...

So, just so I balance my stance here. I'm gonna go through what I DO agree with in regards to Ron Paul.
Ron Paul has one ideal that I hold very dear. He has said that the Federal Government needs to butt out of issues that should be handled at the state and local level. I 10000000000000000000000000000000% agree. there are a TON of issues that entagles our elected officals time, that could be decided by state our local government. IE. Abortion, Union Rights, gay marrige, legalized drugs, etc. If you live in a state and something gets legalized, or is now illegal and it bothers you soooo much.... you can move to where the laws fit your beliefs. There is one undeniable truth in politics, and that is you will never make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time. All you can do is fairly represent the majority. And under the current system the center of the majority (Due to the electroal college) is far away from most of us. So, lets press the "Easy Button" Our states will handle it's populations laws in these regards. Fed, get back to work providing interstate and international commerce, security, and infrastructure.

Fooking interesting read! Actually our new Guatemalan president (where the fook is Guatemala you ask?) is trying to open up discussions in all of Central America (Not the central part of your america peels! the actual central america) about legalizing some drugs and their trade. The US has sent Napolitano and some other peep to try to forestall this. The reasoning of doing this is that we have been getting a lot of pressure from the US to escalate and expand our fight on drugs. This of course takes a buttload of money that we'd rather spend on other more pressing matters. So why should we pay for the US and your drug addicts when we are just a friggin corridor for drugs and we don't really consume much? If we were to legalize them we could charge a buttload of tax on them and give the US the numbers of tons of drugs and types of drugs getting there, we would spend less money fighting the US problem and we would not suffer at the hands of the local drug lords as it is getting pretty bad here with all the cartels fleeing Mexico. Well what happens if we don't get our way and the US pressures us not to legalize (they are putting pressure and the US being the consumer of most of our export products has the leverage and the guns)? well then we say sure we fight but you put up the dough. At least that's what I think the president wants.
About the US being the world's police, it is a necessary evil that unfortunately falls to you as you have the money, guns and leverage to do so. Agree with Aaron that it is needed especially in the middle east.
Our USA "drug addicts" keep your part of the world afloat.
