is that gonna haul the trailer queen? nice truck
Other guys will make fun of you for buying that. I applaud you sir. Those are great vehicles that do exactly what they advertise, quite well. They haul stuff, tow stuff, you can beat them up...and still handle well, and be comfortable. Congrats on the purchase! I am jealous.
Good lookin truck T
Looks like a baby avalanche, hope you have many happy years of motoring in the honda as the engines last forever
Yeah people that buy those put my dad out of a job! No offense, nice truck man.

Which company dad works for?
Hondas are built in USA. Along with nissan and toyota.
"usa built" vehicles are from Korea, Canada and Mexico. ;)
Well I know my dad built AMERICAN fords right here at the KC, MO Ford Plant. They may be built here, but there not american made in my opinion. The money still goes overseas.

point taken, but Americans are still employed HERE! Making them american made. Which was my point, not where the $ ends up. ;) My mother in law works for a supplier that is in business thanks to the "japanese" companies, as well as ford.
And I respect that, well played. I just hate the fact that the other companies are profiting off my dad losing his job. No offense to the buyers of these. I can't look down upon them because me myself, have purchased a foreign vehicle. A badass Raptor 700.

Right now the economy is horrible, I would not blame them as much as Oil companies, that is where it all stems from in my opinion.

Trust me it is all good, I hate to hear anyone losing a job, especially if they are older, hareder to find something new.
Yeah, he had about 7 more years and he would have retired from there. It's alright though when he left, he left with a full pocket. I think his severence package totaled out to be about 150,000.
Hell yeah that is great in a way, still so close to retire and have to do that, Still sucks on that part, my father has 1 more month and he is taking all 5 weeks vacation and then he is gettin his knees operated on one then the other and then he is throwing in the towel at 68, still throwing cases of pop for Pepsi everyday and has for 40 years....He worries that when he retires he will get old quick, he has seen to many friends retire and die years later and thinks about it
I remember my dad told me along time ago that we should all be retired when we are young and then work when we are older that way we can actualy enjoy retirement. Maybe hes right? ???
Yeah live life backwards come out of the ground and get younger each year until the end where ya end up ear deep in some pussy....But it would be our Moms cooter...Aww man I just threw up in my mouth thinkin that
nice truck man. and i guess it does look like a baby avalanche. i have never thought of it that way

My panties are just fine. Who said something?
I wont pick on Temptation anymore for his "truck", I've done that enough.
But if you want to rest the blame on the problem with the american auto industry...put it where it belongs....the UAW. Pay some guy 45+ an hour to push a broom. WTF?!? And we complain that the companies are moving over seas....shocker there.
My mom owns a Honda just like it in white.
She's been very pleased with hers.

i like those honda's  plus they have the best of both worlds. hauling your quad, and a case of beer on ice outta the way
I like those Ridgelines. I test drove one and it was had a good feel to it.
+1 +1 +1
another genius post from MD! Having a truck with an american name does not make you more of a patriot. At one time, that was true, but the big three did nothing to keep up...other than outsource production...to Mexico and Canada
Way to go again Temptation.
Went out looking at trucks yesterday. Strangely, a comparable Toyota Tundra was 4-5k less than a Ram. ??? Granted, Dodge will rebate the $hit out of it to get you to buy it...but still.... ???
Where ever it might be made i am super happy with it for sure
Good post Mad Dog.
Man I never thought when i posted this up that this would turn into such a wage concern, man I learned my lesson, I know longer post my personal goods that will cause contreversy..Damn ??? ??? ??? ???
I hauled a quad in the back and stored all the goods under the bed and me the wife and nephew and my bud all was up in the truck comfortable So I am super happy and that is all that matters.

After Cole and I had our car accident in my old POS Pontiac Grand Prix and I saw what happened to the front seat area, I wanted to stay in the back seat from there on out.

Like I said on SLF, on the phone and in chat with you Tempt, nice purchase.
Pot or kettle Mike?
Again, nice car Temptation.
Have you pulled anything with it yet? If you have how does the drive train handle it? Sorry to ask, but my sister is looking into buying one.
Does awesome and has plenty of power to pull a 16ft trailer with 2 quads with no prob and a quad in the back of it also.

Not saying I wanna be the center of attention, just posted the pic and it went nuts Oh well I guess I appreciate the rant moving
Temp I like your truck. Does it have any blindspots with the rear sweeping back like that? How is the box height? I miss being able to reach over the side rail into the box. All the trucks now seem to have taller side rails and are lifted up higher off the ground.
Depends on ur height I can grab most stuff outta the back and I am 5'11" and I can most then it has the false floor in the bed also and blind spots are not an issue, Box height is like 19 or so inches
Good stuff  Now my sister can drive more often. She has a 02 S10 4x4 four door now and it has been nothing but problems.
That has the trunk in it right, how much stuff can you actually fit in there and does it really work well as a cooler?
It has a drain plug I will get some pics tommorow It would comfortably fit 4 atv tires and rims mounted in there, just to be curious my nephew got in it with 2 fold up chairs in there and it closed and has safety latch inside and he is 130 and is 5'8" tall so gives ya an idea I will get the pics

IF you ever need that ridgeline worked on come see me at the shop. We just had to put a rear diff and a new bed on one. Guy took it swimming and broke the trunk and cracked the diff.
OUCH ;) ;)
