I looked at it, sat on it, and fell in love with it.

But the dealer was only going to give me like $1800-2200 for my 350  :jaw: on trade in.

I only had $500 cash on hand at the time and whatever my dad felt he could give me to help me out.
But it just wasnt going to work, my dad didnt have the money to make the differance and i cant get pissed about that being he just had to pay a 7k AC bill... And i was planning on getting a bit more on trade in...

But the 700 is only 3899 and is in great condition with a GYTR pipe and Pro Armour Nerfs. Has a small scrape up front on the nose and a couple stress marks on the plastic. It is so much nicer than my 350  :(

Might got back later this week if my dad comes up with the money. I cant pass this deal up  And im goign to owe every penny back to my dad so dont think im getting shit handed to me

If i do get it this week be prepared for a really long post about how much i love it lol... It felt so much better than the 350.

Anything specific i should look for when i go? its a 2006.
Other than bearings, smoke, cracks and all the normal stuff?

Rear brake pads wear fast, I priced an 07 rear rotor from Yamaha for around $35, its cross drilled so hopefully pads last longer.

The very early 06's had bad fuel pumps, my "bad" fuel pump seems to work fine

Take apart your steering stem mount, inspect & regrease. If needed check out OMI Products for an aftermarket steering stem mount.

I noticed my a-arm have a tiny bit of slop in the bushing on the lower arms.

Chain condition

How often are you supposed to grease the stem mount?

I don't think the manual says how often to grease the stem mount.
The stock mount doesn't have a zerk to grease but the OMI does  :)

Pull the counter shaft cover and check the sprocket for wear. It is a good indication of how much and hard it has been ridden. Check the a-arms for sand blasting or dents and look under at the skid pan . Do a compression test. Look at the oil and see how dirty it is. Check the grips are they stock and how worn are they. Same for the tires. One of these thing may mean nothing but put them all together and it can give you some indication of how hard it has been used. Good luck and I hope it is a great deal. you will be rolling with the big boys!!
