If you had a "get out of jail free" card, what crime would you commit?

Curious.. If you had to choose just one...can you place emphasis on one single childhood memory that is responsible for how you are today?

Dad leaving when I was 10... made me "Man of the house"
my older brother was mentally unstable... had his own demons to worry about...

Peelz

for me, would have to be Grandpa Dying, watching him suffer, having old ladies tell me it was gods plan for him. at the same time I had figured out Santa wasnt real.

made me realize some folks dont think for themselves, and only reflect what they hear.  nothing is going to ever be as someone else says it is, you gotta figure things out yourself...

Picking rocks in a field with my grandpa. Straight up shit work. Told him I thought it was stupid. He said he didn't care, we were going to be handed stupid jobs as we got older. "Better get used to it.."

Don't have much memory of my childhood, always amazes me the stark detail others can recall when all I can muster is a few still images that were mostly formed by other people telling me about what happened.  Always bothered me, makes me feel like maybe I don't have a proper understanding of why and how I came to be the person I am.

hey, Relax. we are who we are. My older son is like this. We've stopped trying to bring up memories, because you ask him if he remembers a family event, he just goes "no" and moves on, and were all like... "well thats nice...glad we paid 1million dollars for disneyland tickets"

You get handed a blank cheque and told to buy the thing you've always wanted, no matter the cost. What do you buy?

like.. the ultimate pad... Trampoline room, indoor pool... all the shit he loves... uber electronics... big screens everywhere...
