Been a while since i have been on here but need your guys help!!

Recently I had gotten in the R/C hobby of flying drones doing aerial photography. Its amazingly fun and some of the coolest things i have done. Recently i sank my drone to the bottom of the Missouri River... About a $1200.00 crash.

Anyways the company DJI is having a YouTube video contest and the top 10 videos with the most "Likes" on YouTube win a free drone! So click like guys, its greatly appreciated!!!

I'm not going to lie. I was at my inlaws private campground. Theres tons of people/campers/atv's out  on some very scenic terrain, and all I was thinking about is this drone thingy.

Whats the range on something like that?

Thinking some more, can one be able to relate photos to a specific Northing/Easting to be able to import a photo into AutoCAD? I'm thinking that my company could take advantage of this to get Ariel photo for a customer.

Right now we rely on old google/GIS photos to get us by and sometimes they can be 3-4 years old.

Stock transmitter is 1000ft range

i upgraded to Futaba T8J radio and was getting close to a mile away and I have the FPV goggles so i can see what it sees. Pretty damn cool

As far as the autocad stuff im not sure about that... Its basically just a gopro that takes the photos so there really isnt any data coupled to the photos themselves

well guys, made it on a local newspaper website, and also made it on a local radio station that covers a huge area. Up to 121 likes right now and growing. Hopefully can keep them coming in before the 27th!
