Anyone like them? I'm attempting to find a bike so I can make a bobber. We found my buddy one and have it stripped down already and are putting the harness back together, chopped off some of the frame and built a set of ape hangers and low bars. On our way to a bike swap meet to see if we can score some stuff.
I'm looking at doing a xs650 or maybe a Goldwing because I like the fat bubbly tank. Please post pics if ya got'em. Ill post pics of his tonight or later on today

buddy just built this. Total out of pocket cost was about 500 bucks.

A few things have changed on it since this picture. We added different bars and controls, and a suicide shifter.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

Awesome !!!!!
That's the style and color seat I want or similar.
Is that a Honda? I can't read the side of the engIne. What size is it?
I also want to to do a side fuel level gauge like that. That thing is sweet, good job!

Nick

Did you do forward controls? I wanna do those forsure

Troy

My buddy Adam has built a couple cool xs 650 bikes lately and he's building a few more as we speak.  He does all the work from top to bottom himself.  I've been thinking of doing something soon.  Here's a few pics.

I think the last pic is just a bike he's copying for the one on the stand.  He's building a flat track version for his girlfriend that is going to be badass too.

Its a Kawasaki KZ650

The fuel level is just two 90 degree brass fitting with clear hose  total cost was about 5 bucks.

Right now I dont have any pictures of the controlls. We made our own shifter and linkage. Its a foot clutch with a jocky shift.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

I think I've always liked the look.  There was one of craigslist here a while back I really wanted.  However, with my history of beginning projects and never finishing them, maybe I shouldn't start one.
mostly stock with a 12t sprocket of fury

I have started building a bobber out of a 2005 Sportster 1250. I'll post pics later. I built and sold an xs650 and cb750 bobber. I'll take some pics of the bikes of some of the guys in the crew for ya.

The Red xs650 that Troy posted was build by an East coast shop, it sold on ebay for around $5500 if I remember correctly. Very clean build.

How come you want a bike now lol

My photobucket app isn't uploading pics, someone wanna post them for me ? I'll text you them lol
These xs 650's are hard to find stock now, I'm finding more 750-850, I also am considering a Goldwing done up fatboy style:)
