So....I got a little reminder why I think organized religion is a sham.

It was really, really windy, and dark out over the weekend. Things blowing over, super noisy, doors blowing open, kind of scary.. My son comes to me all upset-nearly in tears. "I think there is going to be an apocalypse, it's 2012 now dad" SO I say "what idiot told you that?"

"This kid at school said he heard at church, and it's in the bible" So now christianity is going to require you to subscribe to Mayan culture? s-t-u-p-i-d
