Ultimate Vacation

What would be an ultimate vacation for you? I'm pretty jealous of Krandall's trip to Australia. I started taking week long vacations last year to Islands. Last year I went to St Thomas Virgin Island... and this year Brit and I went to Jamaica. I plan on going to the Cayman Islands next year. As far as a dream vacation, I would love to spend a month in Australia. Rent a house on the beach and just kick it.

We still are planning for a Bora Bora trip, but in the mean time I'm taking Nikki to Italy, Germany, France, and Spain next spring.

I'm with you on Australia...  Close second would be a tour of great britain. With a long stop on the island of Islay in Scotland. To destroy my liver with scotch, straight from the source

My ultimate vacation for now would be the southernmost tip of South America. Torres del Paine and Ushuaia and take a trip on a boat to have some scotch on the rocks with ice from a glacier. They go to Bariloche in Argentina for some more snow and finally a week drowning in wine at Mendoza, Argentina as well.

Where in Spain? When I was on deployment on the way home we stopped in Palma, Spain and it was fucking amazing... Just be for warned drinking in the streets IS prohibited!

WTF is with this "I want to go to Australia"
I've been there, & it's ok, Hell, I've been to Iowa & it sure beats being there (mind you being in hell beats Iowa)
& I guess it probably beats out being in a lot of places in the USA..............


But, if you want to come "down-under" New Zealand is where it is at!

We invented the Hamilton Jet, White water Rafting, bungy Jumping.
We have some of the most accessible "extreme sport" areas in the world.
We have some of the most accessible extreme natural beauty places in the world.
Mountains, lakes, snow skiiing, water skiing, mountain biking & more...........

The only things Aussie have that we don't is:
1/ a f**king great desert (ie: most of the continent) with a bloody great red rock in the middle somewhere 
2/ 7 out of the 10 most poisonous spiders in the world
3/ 7 out of 10 of the most poisonous snakes in the world
4/ about 150 shark attacks a year
5/ Crocodiles
