Mission success! Not bad for my first time. the grill ran hot, I tried to turn it down, so it cooked a bit faster. But still came out great!

4.5 hours on the grill and 2.5 hours in the oven.. OM NOM NOM!!!

I see a good smoke ring! Did you use the dizzy pig seasoning?

Did it get eatin fast?

Krandall

Yep, let it sit in Seasoning Salt for about 24 hours in the fridge, then washed it, dried it, and then coated w/ the dizzy pig swamp venom I put brown sugar on it as well... I want to try getting a more sweet seasoning next,

I forgot to ask you, did you do it with the fat cap up?

Krandall

I started it w/ the fat cap up, and then the last hour, I cooked with it down.

That works!

I love pulling it apart. One for the bowl, one for me.....one for the bowl, one for me.

So, how was the bark? That is hands down my favorite part! Also, did you find the secret part of the meat? Just under the fat cap and before the main part is a 1/4" thick piece of meat that is un-fu*king-believable!

I don't remember where I posted it but.. It was soo good. It was more like... 1 in the bowl, 2 for me, 3 in the bowl, 4 for me.. By the time it was time to eat, I could only eat one sandwich lol!!!! The bark was by far my favorite part. between the swamp venom seasoning and the brown sugar on there. It was sooo good. The first time I checked the temp of the pork, I poked the thermometer in, when I pulled it out juice just started gushing from the spot,

I didn't pay any attention to that meat, I remember seeing it, but I just mixed it in, the next one I do I'll have to make note :)
