I really don't get it. I guess, in all of our presidents, I've never held a torch to any of them thinking they better do this or that my way.
They are going to make decisions to things I like (republican or democrat) and they are going to make decisions that I won't like also! No one is perfect and there is no such thing as the perfect president. The only thing I hope far are that morals and ideas are similar to mine. Don't care if you're black, white, asian, or a woman. Just think about being Hoover during the great depression. Everyone hating you. Your predecessors set you up for failure and then you're basically given a huge target on your back saying.. This is all your fault.. like 6 months after being in office.

Hoover and the 4 before him were republican (to those thinking our problems now are because of a democratic leadership).

Thanks for being a level headed person to chat with regarding politics. I don't have any sort of answers or what the solutions are either. But shit, it definitely isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
you give one person a reason why it's not so bad, and they fire back with 4 articles saying this is still why it's bad.. well guess what... there's all sorts of stupid shit you can find on the internet. You can prove almost any point that you want. Want to smoke all your life. Sure! I can find someone who lived until they were 103 years old had a beer and a pack of cigarettes every day of their life. Eggs are full of cholesterol and you shouldn't eat them anymore. SURE I got 30 of them bitches lined up!!!

The thing is... Everything is bad for you in mass quantity EVEN POLITICS!!!!

yeah mang. the thing i get lost on. when someone, either side, doesn't get their way via a vote, the winning side immediately becomes Nazis, traitors, or communists... and i'm like NOOOO... freedom isn't exclusive to just you!

the fact that you're name calling and throwing a fit when you don't get your way and other folks have different ideas makes YOU the nazi/communist. if everyone had the same exact ideas, we WOULD be communist.  neither guns or gays are "ruining the country" folks that believe that nonsense ARE!

america is diverse. keep it that way. every time iv'e ever read the constitution, THAT was the entire reason we are even here in America, and not burned at the stake or in shackles with a shovel in England for having individual thoughts.  

we have humanity's greatest learning tool ever(interwebz), yet we refuse to learn from it. just use it to further our own beliefs, and insult those who think otherwise. so weird to me.

This girl (19 I think) is the lead organizer for a movement of college students who want public college to be free, all students debt erased and then a $15 minimum wage if you work for a college..
When asked "how will all of this be paid for?"
It's pure comedy.
