Yeah, its a million acre zoo called the San Jaun National Forest. I spend a week in there every year getting lost and looking for elk!

That I have found to be soooo true over the past 6 years. First year, I tagged a 5x5. Beginners luck! Since then I have seen anything legal!!!

I bet you see tons of nice Mule Deer bucks though huh??   I always see monsters of the species I'm not hunting for!!!  :'(

It is always that way! About 2 years ago the biggest mule deer I have sence in my life (alive) walked with 25 feet from me. Couldn't do a thing. Last year we had 2 mule tags and didn't see anything worth keeping.

Not to rain on your parade Aaron, but to be honest, Walden sucks unless you are doing a day trip.  I have been riding there for a couple of years and thats the only place I really ride that is close.  Much more than a day and you will be bored out of your mind!!

It is about 800 acres to ride on.  There are 3 bathrooms, no running water, no electric but quite a bit of shade....heres a link to it

If you would even consider coming out west and don't want to go as far as Little Sahara Utah, I would go to Killpecker which is 30 miles northeast of Rock Springs, Wyoming.  There is about 11,000 acres you can ride on.  It can be windy though and there is no shade.

Yeah, Walden is a weekend worth of riding at best, but fun none the less.

Yes sir it is    I have been spoiled by the big dunes though and can't stand walden  .....not my riding style anymore but still a good place to go thats close and get some sand in my shorts!!
