Gas is 7 lbs a gallon.

To be exact, it's 6.34 at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The cooler it is, the less dense it is.

No, I just need to know how much stuff weighs when figuring weight and balance before a flight. Exact figures are pretty important.

So for the 4 gallon tank it will be .66 lbs more
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

We will have to fill a tank and weigh it to get exact figures.  Thanks for the weight question, I forgot about full weight.  I was just wanting to get dry weight because we all would realize one point one gallons of gas will weigh more than stock.  The five gallon might be a little heavy for you guys trying to crunch weight numbers on your bikes like doing Jenny Craig.

Here is a great shot showing the plastics fit over the tank.  The only difference is the tanks I am selling will have the regular filler neck.

I wish it wasn't so much but that is with me just getting my money back for each one.

Right now I am paying $85 for each filler neck, $210 in material for the tank, $30 for R&D and set up, and $250 goes to the welder.

I am not making one dime on these tanks, if people don't believe me I can give them the contact info for the shop I am working with to get these built.  That is why I need so many orders because if they are going to make more of them they will mass order the supplies and the costs will drastically go down.

it's to bad they aren't willing to build in mass. They have to know there's a market out there to sell them

I know there'd be plenty to jump on board @ the 350ish range

that's where its "semi-affordable" for the average joe

If I can get a guaranteed sold number and deposits on them I can make it happen and front the money but I need the guarantee of the first 100.  I can sell them for $400 shipped and I can even get fuel pumps soon if I can get them all sold.  I am working out a deal with a fuel pump manufacturer and I could get new fuel pumps for less than $50 a pump.

What is the difference between the tank fillers?  And will the tank cover plastics fit over the other?

That tank filler is specifically for the R1 bike.  The Raptor tanks will have their regular filler necks, so you can use which ever gas cap you have.

I think that's what he's trying to show here.  By the looks of the plastic they don't look pushed out or anything. It looks like the cover will go over just fine.

It shows that it will fit on the side.  The one that goes on the top looks like it may not fit.

maybe rich will chime in. I believe he had these designed around all stock plastics fitting.
