Nice, I hear this mod is pretty common on 660s...my 700 works great and even better after new rotors, pads, and brake lines....Can't wait to see your ride report on the comparison

Now just the rear shock & swing-arm to decide what to do about & i'll be set.
Thinking to cut & stretch the existing swing-arm, but will then need a heavier spring or upgraded shock & spring.

I have an 01 rear shock rebuilt by TCS w/ dual rate springs I was running on my +4 swinger and loved it. I've got a dude who was supposed to be buying a full set of shocks (that included) yesterday, but haven't heard from him. You possibly interested if he backs out ? No big deal, just thought I'd throw it out there...

Looking forward to your review

I did this on my 660 several years ago and it was night and day.  Throw a set of stainless lines on at the same time and you won't believe the difference.

Stainless braided lines, sintered pads & the 450 calipers.
Like hitting a wall after the stock brakes!
Can lock the front wheels on seal so easy it aint funny.
We can now do stoppies! :)

Have done the swing-arm stretch too, & the bike feels so much more planted!
Widened to 1290mm outside front wheels (+180mm or 6 1/2")
Widened rear to 1320mm outside rear wheels (+220mm or 81/2")
Stretched swingarm by 50mm (2")

Dyno in the next couple of weeks, then time to go play!
