Have Krandall you found someone to rebuild it yet? If not i am positive i can do it just dont know what state you live in. Im in Texas but me and my buddy do all our own work. I already had to replace tranny gears and then broke the cases again and replaced the crank. Idk how much you can get a crank for but i paid 315 for mine at my local guy. And he can get all the OEM tranny parts for cheap or i go to XtremePowersports.com. Let me know what you think.

I was always worried about the cam sprocket bolts coming out and getting in to the cases and tearing everything up so i locktight everything that i think could come loose and cause damage.

You ship it like when you shipped it to me way back when?

Krandall

for the most part yes. took a few more precautionaries this time around. But all and all. I did a "roll" test lol.

rolled the rubbermade tote around my living room floor. didn't move at all inside. should be good to go!

Cant beat the Rubbermade, I ship em all that way.

I prefer the "stair" test. Also can do it with your driveway if you live on a hill. Just roll it down and see what happens. Sad we have to resort to these methods because shipping companies  cant read Fragile - this side UP

Krandall

Motor arrived @ Gunz place on Tuesday.

Head arrived @ RE yesterday.

Just got off the phone w/ John. He's taking care of my cam. But he noticed that the intake valves were bent. Looks like the piston gave them a light tap. Not horrible, but bad enough. Getting new valves thrown in.

He said he also noticed that the intake port where the divider is. That there is 2 small cracks. 1 - 1"16" long and 1 about 1/8" long.

Doesn't think it's critical, but something to be aware of.
