any 450's break down?

none that I am aware of????
one Rappy broke a swingarm
another Raptor lost its wheels (LMFAO @ Phucker)

unless you count my rear brake line, I dion't think there was any 450 failures
but when you have that much HP, it is hard to get them stopped, and my braided brake line couldn't handle the stress

at least you didn't have to get towed in because your battery fell out.

jake (dabigbratj) and i settled our race from the badlands trip to attica IN where i beat him in every race. i believe that if i had a good start that i would be able to beat him in a short run. but if he had a good start he would get me every time or if we raced for distance he would be able to beat me too. he might think other wise but that's what i'm believing.

damn pain in the ass trying to even find a decent spot to race though.
i do agree i could change a few things if i had longer swinger would have help i remember when we were racing with a 450 and i had to let off cause i was almost at 12oclock on top of you.and we  never new where the end was ect.but was a good time

Mad Dog

Good posts so far.

Thursday was peaceful, I posted the pics that night.  Friday was perfect; weather, dunes, guys, and the lot.  Save for a busted swingarm I can't think of anything bad about the riding.  Friday was the day to be there for riding.

My weather optimism was shot on Saturday, but we stuck it out, bbq'd in the rain and were rewarded when the rain stopped in the afternoon.  Thanks for all of you who came out and especially those who stayed while the rain came down.  I'm proud of the die hards, riding for the love of it is what it's all about.

Tim Barker it was good to see you, it's been a few years but getting the chance to talk with you was a treat.  All of us appreciate the efforts you made to be there and especially your generosity with your time and your newly built Raptor.  Guys like you make the sport that much better.

Again I want to thank those of you who made the trip, whether for the whole weekend or just a few laps of the dunes it was great to meet up and ride with all of you.  Sorry for those of you I may have missed, hope you had a good time.

What else can I say about the Rally as a whole other than I had a great time and will cherish the memories made.  This sport and especially the people who participate in it bring great joy to my life and a smile to my face.  Thank you all for making the Rally such a success even in spite of Saturday's weather.
