Looking for mounting and installation ideas for putting satelite radio into my truck.

First the specs: 2005 F350, 6.0, manual trans, stock CD radio with aux button but no 6-changer.

For Christmas I was given a Sirius receiver - the kind that looks like a removable faceplate. The receiver has all sorts of wires to plug in to it externally which makes it portable but it looks like hell.

I can get over the looking like hell part - my truck is not a grocery getter - but I don't want to make it any easier for the bad guys to rip my stuff off.

Ideas? I'm totally new to Sirius and wouldn't have bought it for myself so don't know jack about it.

Thanks.

What model do yo have?

I've got the sportster 5 and I've got it wired so you can bairley see anywires.
I like having the exterior unit because you can store hours of music on it, and store all your favorite songs and artists. I can get you a picutre of how Its mounted if you like.

I'm guessing an ancient model. It looks much more mechanical than the ones on Sirius' site. Your Sportster 5 looks nice. Maybe I'll just pony up and buy that. Any installation tips/'pics you have would be appreciated.
Thanks.

just playin preds. I dig the sat radio. Mine doesn't have the option like yours to set it to announce when your favorite band plays. THat was pretty cool.
