Our wishes and support go out to you and family.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I seriously hope none of you have to experience this anytime soon.

Dad was a volunteer VFW honor guard member.... They would perform the military last rights often, but this did not prepare me for it being my own father. Playing taps, 21 gun salute, and delivering the flag and expended shells to my Mom. It was pretty tough. He was a wonderful man, and myself and the rest of my family will miss him greatly. But I am the kind of guy who hangs on to good memories, not bad ones. And I have ALOT of good ones to run with. :)

He was pretty much solely credited for saving the VFW here. And starting a fundraiser to buy a van to transport wounded or sick vets back and forth to the VA hospital.

The fund has been renamed "the Allen C. Pealer memorial Van fund"

Pretty awesome if you ask me.

peels.... over and out.

Very nice, sounds like he was a very honorable man.  :)
Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me! >:D

A nice way for your father's name and memory to be carried on to be sure.  I'm very sorry for your loss and while I may not be eloquent enough to properly express it know that my heart goes out to you and your family.  And thank you for helping to remind me of what all sons should already know, that time with one's father is always precious.
