This is just a little 3 part report that I found very interesting.  With the "issues"  that are on a certain party's platform, against a certain president, I suggest looking at who really is to blame.




Part 1

In just one year .  Remember the election in 2006?

Thought you might like to read the following:

A little over one year ago:


 

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
 

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:


1) Consumer confidence plummet;

2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;

3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate
(stock and mutual fund losses);

5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;

6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.


7)  USA Today pointed out the "down trend" in the economy after 12 years of prosperity.  Does that mean we have had 7 years of prosperity with Bush?? I can't believe they admit it.  They certainly never give him any credit for that.


 

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!


 

Remember it's Congress that makes law not the President. He has to work with
what's handed to him.

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush
is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama
or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and
a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait
for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you
scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

Boy am I confused.  I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the
Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.

I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

Interesting statistics that you will never read in mainstream media. Whatever your politics, however you
lean, however you feel about the current administration, this report should open some eyes. As tragic as
the loss of any member of the US Armed Forces is, consider the following statistics:

If you are surprised when you look at these figures, so was I. These figures mean that the loss from the two
latest conflicts in the Middle East are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Bill Clinton's
Presidency; when America wasn't even involved in a war!

And, I was even more shocked when I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize
Winner) Jimmy Carter, there were 2,392 US military fatalities! I think that these figures indicate that many
members of our Media and our Politicians will pick and choose the information on which they report. 
Of course we all know that they present only those 'facts' which support their agenda-driven reporting.
But why do so many of them march in loc k-step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their
marching-orders for their agenda?

Do you want further proof? Consider the latest census, of Americans. It shows the following FACTS about
the distribution of American citizens, by Race:
European descent .....................69.12%
Hispanic .....................................12.5%
Black ...........................................12.3%
Asian ...........................................3.7%
Native American .......................1.0%
Other ...........................................2.6%

Now... here are the fatalities by Race; over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom:

I was surprised again. . .until it became clear to me that the point here is that our mainstream media
continues to spin these figures (for political gain). Nothing more.

It's all about politics and some politicians, are now famous for turning American against American for a
vote. Hillary's stump speech after her Super Tuesday 'victory' stating that the current administration does
not 'listen' to anyone and continues the war costing precious American lives. Yes, I might even agree with
her, but she should be made to acknowledge her own husband's administration, without having an actual
war, sent more soldiers to death during his term while also forcing the military to release Osama when we
actually had him detained.

I hope that during the time between now and November, that intelligent Americans can decipher the facts
from the spin and the spinners from the leaders; those who seek even more power from those that seek
justice, the dividers from the uniters.

Over the next months let's be good listeners (yes, Hillary and Barak we are listening) and see and hear who
tries to divide our nation; and who wants to unite our nation. Who wants to control how our money is
spent and who wants our money spent the way we would spend it. Who seeks power and who seeks
justice? Who spins the facts and who is genuine.

Actually, Congress was a Republican Congress for the first four years of the current douche bag's term. For the last year and a half is now mostly Democrat. Bush having veto power, he can just continue to stall anything Congress or the House does.

Bush is a lame duck. Lame Duck = Officials or in the peculiar position of not facing the consequences of his actions in the next election, meaning they are generally considered not accountable for their actions.

We CAN blame a political party for the economic downturn. The writing was on the wall, and the current administration should have been more proactive on the matter. Instead, they have been more concerned with Iraq and lining the pockets of big oil.

Taxes may go up with a Democrat in office, but it's to pay for the mess that Bush created over the last eight years. Either way, anything is better than what we have in office now.

The taxes will not go up to pay for "the mess that Bush created over the last eight years"  Thats just a close minded point of view, they have always been more for the social causes and had the taxes in place for that.  And Bush didn't line the pockets of big oil.....we did.  Its a supply and demand world......nothing we can do to change that.  We need to get the oil that is here and keep working on fuel cells.  And congress can over turn his veto now that they have the numbers they need.  Look at the voting records and read the laws they are passing.  If you just watch the news you will never see what is really going on.

Look who passed the laws to allow the lenders to do the funky loans and PUSHED it through the white house. 

Look who has backed the unions as they push up wages so high companies can't afford it so they have to move work over seas driving unemployment to an all time high as we loose more and more jobs to other countries.

Look who has passed the laws for "consumer rights" to make it easier to sue your doctors pushing medical insurance premiums through the roof.

Read the laws that are being passed and who is sponsoring them, this is all public records.  There is where you will really see what is happening.

I'm not a big fan of him....yet.  But I'm happy to see that he's been working hard to work with the other side.  I think the only way anything will get done is for them to work together.  I like that he does that.  I'm not going to vote for Obama because of the social things he is pushing for, the taxes for those will cost more then this war ever has.  Plus I haven't heard what "change" he's really talking about.  Universal health care is one thing he's strong for and that won't be good for this country....it hasn't worked for any other country, how is it going to work here.  And he's for gun control.....doesn't take a smart man to know that will make things worse.

no need to burn up tax money. Just have a test we have to take to measure intelligence, then give us a "gun license", which we pay for of course. I would gladly pay it. I was shocked a few years ago when I got into shooting and bought my first rifle. Just paid for it and walked out. I was like, "that's all I need to do, that's a bit scary"
