Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Cycra® ATV Alloy Stealth hand guards? Yamaha is selling them as a OEM accessory this year and they don't look gay like the PowerMad ones do.
No offense.

those look identical to the zeta's I got out here for Cole's quad.  Pretty cheap stuff, not impressed

I'm not looking for something bullet-proof - just something to keep me from having to pick blackberry vine needles out of my knuckles (gotta love riding in the Pacific Northwest).
And this entire kit costs less than $40.
Gonna give it a try. I'll write up a review after I break them in.

I hear ya.  I use these gloves instead of handguards, they work great for me

I never even thought of gloves. Talk about a big DUH moment.
The guards are already ordered so guess I'll just sit back and hope for the best. If nothing else I'll end up with something new to break.

I would think ANY handgaurds are better than no handgaurds when hitting a tree, branch, or whatever else.  I always ran them on my dirtbikes and loved them.

Ask Krandall.  I hear he's the expert on this subject!     :D

In all reality, I just wore gloves and never needed the guards.

The only time I think about handguards is at my folk's house. They have some briar patch type bushes out there. Thorns don't feel so hot on the knuckles
