FCI foam filter

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a foam filter for my FCI intake. Anyone know where to start looking for a good foam filter that will fit this FCI tube? We went riding this weekend in Ohio, it was so dusty at times I could not see 5ft in front of me. Hell, I was holding my breath a few times. I don't ride in conditions like this all the time but it does happen when we don't get any rain. I would like to have the extra protection of a foam filter if there is any out that will fit. Thanks for any help!

I run the FCI and I just clean and oil it. Clean up the outerwear,really good that's all I can help with.

I'm going to give one of the K&N foam wraps a try. I think/hope it will take care of the problem.

Are you replacing the outerware with the foam, or on top of the outerware?

I'm think on top of the outerware but I'm not sure yet.

So it goes over the filter some how like a foam stocking?

This is my K&N and tube after about 33 miles of nothing but dust. Not as bad as I was think it was going to be.

I think the foam wrap should help a lot but we will see..

It looks like it will wrap around the filter and is held in place with Velcro. They have stockings also.

That's what mine looked like after a week riding the dirt/sand/limerock roads in north central Florida for a week and a day at croom. Been cleaning it like every 3 rides. Then thought I may be over doing it but I'd rather keep it clean than let my engine eat dust constantly.

Thanks for starting this thread I've often wandered if they had something like this. I'm try one myself maybe two just an extra in the truck just in case I lose one or forgot the other at house if trails to dirty.

It's a good time if it's not to dry out, they usually have it three times a year..

The foam is meant to go around the filter with no Outerwears and without oil.

IMHO, just run an Outerwears on the K&N.  The foam will collect dirt just as bad as the K&N by itself.  If you use the Outerwears it's relatively easy to take off and shake off and continue riding, and your K&N will last longer.

I had the Outerwears on the K&N and you see what the K&N looks like. I think you oil the foam wrap. At least it say's, The Airforce Pre-Cleaner is designed to be used with K&N Filter Oil and must be cleaned with K&N Cleaner or soap & water.
