I was looking at the billet cam cover I bought second hand and I wasnt to fond of the logo that was on it. So I took it off and saw that was only plastic with 6 holes so basically with a laser etch, or engraving tool on a circular piece of plastic and a small drill bit I can say anything I want on my cam cover. Here is where im starting at, and what im hoping the end result might look like. Ill post more when I get it finished here this week.

Just be careful. I'm not sure if its only "plastic" the cover gets pretty hot. I could be completely wrong also and monster quad could use plain ol' plexiglass.

should be sweet, and it's not like your out anything.

I know, im looking at tempered or temp resistant plexi, By the cutting and sanding on the edges it looks like plexi but I should be able to get some stuff thats resistant. I thought about using glass but I figured in a wreck it would crack, and layering plexi over glass but that would flex and crack. The glass would also be really thin if I did that. Im off to the hardware store to see what I can find!  :)

I was going to post that. Lexan has a 250F resistance for constant operation and 500F for combustion, as well as being sturdy as hell. I cut and engraved one but the engraving came out terrible, im going to take it to a trophy place and have them toss the engraving on it. It comes out really well! Better still, the guy a the glass place just gave me the sheet of Lexan which cost 30-40 bucks for the size it was. I love free stuff! Will post a how to vid in a day or so depending on how fast I can edit it all together.

Update:

Lexan does not warp or become pliable at 250F. Definetly a great material to use. Almost done, ill finish tomorrow
