Excuse my ignorance but I have a gaming question.

Some may already know this but I'll say it again anyway:A few months ago my X-Box 360 Elite took a crap. Well, I'm looking to get another one but don't want to shell out another 400-500 dollars to do so. So my question is this: will the Elite HDD work in the plain 'ol 360 console? I'm hoping so because I have a-lot of stuff saved on it. Another thing, if I do get a new 360 (not an elite) how much could I sell the 60 GB HDD for (which would never have been used of course)? ???

it will work just fine on any 360 console.

Just so everyone knows (not that you care) but I went with a regular 360 (Arcade). Those do not come with a HDD. I used my old one and paid 169.00 for the 360 and got a 1 year warranty.

do the arcade versions come with HDMI now?

Not the cable itself but it can accept the HDMI cables. This was fine with me due to me already having the HDMI cables from the Elite that crapped the bed on me a few months ago.
