I was originally using the 06 pogo sticks as shocks on my raptor 700 for about 1 full season til' i figured it was time for an upgrade. I purchased some 06 yfz shocks and 1 ended up being blown so i sold those and got some newer 08 yfz shocks which were in like new condition. My initial impression was that with my +2 a arms it made my already WIDE quad even wider by how much lower it brought me. About 1.6 inchs. My A-Arms looked "flat" when looking straight at the quad and didn't have that V shape. When i would do a wheelie it would be harder for the front end to come up because the first 6 inchs or so it was just lifting the shock up.

2 months later i scored some 08 SE raptor 700 shocks w/ ressy. when i recieved them i compared the length to the YFZ shocks and they were the exact same length.

Once i mounted them i gained 2 inchs of height (with the preload all the way to the top)

BIGGEST DIFFERENCE RIDE TIME

These babies took the whoops on so much BETTER than those YF SIEZE SHOCKS!

On the YFZ i felt like i was kinda going over the handle bars on some of the small jumps or whoops, on these babies it absorbs the impact for a much more plush ride. Before the YFZ shocks i was thinking of a more expensive route but i really am happy i tried these first. They may not be for everyone but for me these worked perfect.

Putting the YFZ ones on stock arms lowers the ride by about 1-1.5 inches, adding them onto +2 arms would only increase that lowering. Kinda sucks but. Grats on the SE Shocks!
