Perhaps you should point out the following:

The OP has an 08 grizz, not the carbeurated 04 the guy you're arguing with has.  Therefore his comments on carb upgrades on the first page and shenanigans about dual vs single inlet are all useless comparisons.

15% on 185 hp is just shy of 28hp, so of course he won't see 15% on his "big bikes", they are a totally different application and most aren't sold with exhausts designed to meet california green sticker laws and 93db public noise requirements.  15% bearing the OEM exhaust restriction difference in mind and on a machine with 1/4 of the hp to begin with is, as you said, a much lower hp increase for each percentage point.  The OP's test was almost certainly including a modified or gutted intake in addition to the exhaust and cdi.  Let's also ask the question whether the OP's test was claiming the hp increase was actually at peak, or if it was just at some point in the curve.

I try not to argue with too many people on the net anymore, I got my fill of it back on other forums.  Some people are just bull headed.

Hey......I learned from experience

Lifes to short to argue or get upset about things that just aren't that important in the grand scheme of things IMHO.
