Okay. So I am completely dumbfounded when it comes to quads. I have a heavy background in cars though. My question is I have 2001 660 with a pipe, intake and is re jetted, and I was looking into a Big gun CDI Rev Box, but saw on some sights I need a "high performance regulator rectifier". Do I really need this?

Thanks, Steve

Great screen name! CDI box will kill you rev limiter, which is good. Performance gain is marginal (like 1hp maybe), unless you have alot of other mods.  Other's might disagree.

Haha, Thanks! And I was just trying to figure out a couple of minor cheap mods before I buy my dream 720 Stroker kit. Any sugguestions? Maybe A stage 1 Hotcam? With a re jet?
