any rumors or changes for 2010 700R rappy?!

anybody heard any rumors about changes or colors for 2010 raptor 700R?!

friend of mine got a nice offer for his rappy and thinking of waiting fo 2010 but if no changes, probably will go with the 09.

Probably no changes as they just put the digital dash in 09 and will probably be focusing on the 450r's development

I haven't heard a peep from Yamaha, They have been pretty hush hush with everything.

Here's my guess's.


They had 2 years on the Stock Pogo's. They've had 2 years on the newer shocks. My guess, is some time soon, we'll see a switch-over to the new style YFZ suspension, which would include a frame change on the rappy.

I'm hoping they'll give us some better stock tires, the All-Terrain 2 ply's just don't quite do it.

aND FIX THE GEARBOX TROUBLES. tHERE IS 5 CASES THROUGHOUT AUSTRALIA NOW WITH PROBLEMS.

The trannys are fine. Theres been alot mot frame issues than tranny. My guess is a whole chassis/plastic make over in 2011-2012. The 660 was from 01-05 and the 700 is 06-10(IMO).

700cc for me its pretty enough with the right mod's in trail riding...

if they will change the suspension like in the new YFZ it wil be great  

cause in stock form is too narrow

Should be hearing about any changes fairly soon, I think its usually august we hear of any changes.

Im thinkin an IRS version. I dont think they will mess with the motor much. The raptor is kinda like the banshee, just a few changes here and there but nothin major.

I wouldn't want a sport quad with IRS...but we shall see I guess.
