Going to the track on monday, planning to finally get the big step ups, and nice sized doubles. I normally run with the front shock adjusted to the second to last hardest setting for the track, sometimes the hardest. Thats all good.

I dont want to bottom out on flat landings so easy, my rear shock is to soft for the track right now, and i have never/never tried to adjust it. Im not going to buy any tools, what could i use around the garage?

So just tell me how lol. I have a 2006, with the basic suspension (pogo sticks)

What does what?
What turns where?
Tools needed?
and so on..

In the stock manual that came with the bike it tells you how to adjust..  I just used a long screw driver and hammer for the collar on my rear shock..

i used the same method. i loosen the top ring first, then hammer down on the lower one. unload the suspension, it will spin alot easier. have fun and watch the hands with the hammer.
