i have seen quite a few pics of people standing thier quad up on a trailer to get more on.  i stand mine up to clean or work on it, but i feel a little uneasy transporting it for a few hours, i dont want the gas to run into the oil.  is this really a concern, or am i over complicating things?  reason i ask is cuz we want to see what we can get on a 20ft to go to the mountains :grin_nod:

hmm. i dont see how the gas could run into the oil ???   just drain your float, turn off the gas and i think youd be ok. and make sure that your gas cap vent tube is secure and upright. 8)

i was told the same thing when i bought my raptor, if you leave it standing up for a long period of time gas will leak into the oil and filters and supposedly can cause a lot of damage on the fuel injected 4 strokes.

i cant believe i am the only person who is interested in this.  you could potentially put 2 quads in the back of a truck.

i know that, im just saying it didnt even look SAFE, not just fluids mixing and such, it looked like it was gonna fall over if they made a sudden brake or something

I know it old, but few replied. I stand up my 700 and roll the outlaw or kfx up behind in the bed of my pickup. Both of these ride in this truck. Sorry best example I got. Each trip is a 2-6 hour round.

as long as you don't have a full tank of fuel you should be fine. i have found that with a full tank the gas tends to run out the vent tubes.
