I was riding on a water dike. In huge letters it says no ATV's, i thought what the hell there never around. Well one day i was 4th gear pined on one and bam a cop. so i go flying down the side of it and hide in some tree rows. The cop rools over the hill and stares right at me. He turns his lights on and my heart stoped. I was out of there. Never did get cought but im not going to do that again.

Regular front-line police do NOT carry guns in New Zealand!!!
Some in "rough" areas do have tazers, but they are VERY rarely used.
It is front page news for weeks if the Armed Offenders Squad have to shoot someone.
Think the tazers have been deployed for about a year now, have been used 4 or 5 times max.
