I meant, how did he know he was put on a clans hitlist 

what's the new gun? And can you upgrade all your chain guns?

Is the new gun something you can purchase?

Its called a bonus gun, 20 attack and 20 defense.  Same upkeep and price as the chain gun but better attack and defense.  I sold most of my chain guns since I wasn't using them in fights since buying the new gun.  I keep just enough chain guns to use for jobs that require one.
