Here is a pic of my father in law's 4 year build that he just sold to start another one.  Was a very nice truck.

This is a picture of my current car. Had it for almost 11 yrs. Its a 66 SS Nova factory 4 sp car, it currently has a 408sbc 420hp, 100 shot juice, and belive it not the it was last painted in 1975. Added cowl hood, wheels, interior stock, CPP A-arm front-end. Just enjoy driving.

He is now doing a pro street 72 chevy short wide, i will send some pics when i get out there to take them.  The color on that 56' was a very bright metallic silver with a rasberry pearl in it, and the flames were all hand drawn by him before it was painted.  The door panels had the flames continued on the inside and the air tank in the bed for the air bags also had the flames.

Awesome.

I like the fact he didn't chop the top on that truck. It looks really nice!

He has been building cars for a long time and did everything to the truck himself with a little help here and there from me(just as a little muscle most of the time) the only thing he didn't do is lay the paint down.  He sold his wifes 65 SS chevelle convertible for 40,000 to buy a new ski boat, and he actually sold that 56' to a doctor in L.A. for 35,000.  Doctor had it two days and he was going to have the exhaust run different or something and the mechanic was pulling it onto the rack and didn't air the bags up and tore the front valance and the entire rack and pinion off of the frame he hit so hard.  Its getting fixed now.

Wow. His rides bring good money!

Sucks about the truck. I would NEVER allow my own ride to be put on a lift that attaches to the body. We have an rack that is used for alignments I drive up on here at work that I request if I need to lift my car. Too many places don't take precautions and can easily damage stuff. If I was that doctor, I'd be pissed!!!
