I've been thinking about this for some time now. I have a MonsterPipe Single, and it's very long IMO. I was thinking my friend is a machinist and could very cleanly cut about 3" - 4" off the end and remount the tip,and logo. I'm thinking this would change the tone and DB some. I might email Paul from MonsterQuad and ask him what he thinks. But what do you guys think?

Just got a reply from Paul at Moster.

"Hey Shawn you are right we build the cans long to keep the sound down and you can cut it down fairly easy, a good machinist could cut the outer can first then measure the inside where the perforated tube goes then cut it to match, then mark carefully and drill the four holes that hold on the end cap, then repack with packing ,remount the emblem. Could be a fun project with a one of a kind cool finished product....... warning it will be louder!!    THANKS for all your support Shawn.  Paul "

Krandall
