my left tie rod is screwed out of the tie rod end about 50% more than my right tie-rod so that the wheels end up in the same position (.25in toe in)

What would cause this.

I looked real closely at my splines on my steering stem and they seem fine.

My stem does not look bent.

Maybe the pitman arm?

on mine one is a lil longer. i think it is the bracket on the bottom of the steering stem, where the tie-rods mount isnt always put one straight, so you make up for it with the tie-rods. just a thought.

if an a-arm or even the rods them selves are tweaked the rods will be diffrent lengths to compensate.

Time to break out a sharpie, a straight edge square and a measuring tape and double check your alignment

i just re-did the alignment with the new a-arm/tie rod install. this tie rod was also screwed out more on my stock setup as well.
