Forgive me cause I'm not familiar with the 700. But does it have only 1 intake port ? I have not seen to many 700's up close with the seat off. But I thought I saw a Dbl throttle body with 2 inj. I didnt see it for to long so I'm not sure. If so that would make sence for bolting on the EFI. But I dont think the 660 frame has clearance for the EFI. So maybe the kit will have an adaptor for 2 carb setup.

From what I was told the bottom ends are the same. And if your making serious power you probably should upgrade the rod and crank in either. EFI is nice but it weights 10 lbs more and doesnt increase HP enough to justify it. I probably have 10k into my 660. So I cant justify selling it for 5k just to start over again with a new 700. Now if I was a turbo guy I would say 700 all the way.  :grin_nod:

10lbs more.  ???

700 head has only 1 injector.

I was hoping for more info too.

There is a little here from the website.

Raptor 660 / Raptor 700 Hybrid Project X

We will be transforming this roached out 01 Raptor 660 into a head turning dune machine. This isn't your average ground up restore project. Far from it actually. We will be taking the stock 660 motor and turn it into a power drunk 804cc power plant. We will be doing this by using one of our new 660/700 hybrid cylinders. It utilizes the 660-bolt pattern at the base and the new raptor 700-bolt pattern at the top of the cylinder so that we can use the new 700 4-valve head and cam combination. We will also be installing a 8mm stroker crank with the cam gear set up for the 700-cam chain. In addition we will be updating the transmission to the 03 gears. We will be posting pictures and information on the project as we go so keep checking back for updates. In the mean time keep checking our new products page. We have a lot of exciting products coming out this year.

If you click on project X it gives an update. And tells all the info about project.

Unless I missed something, they get as far as the motor tear down, but not the actual head swap.
